mexican chicken
For a couple of years now, I’ve been experimenting with various recipes for the BBQ. Some have been spectacular (jerk pork), and some have been a disaster (tequila chicken — I know you’d think this would rock, but it really sucked).
I’ve been trying to gauge effort vs. awesomeness and quite frankly, it’s usually the simplest dishes that turn out the best. I’ve also realized that this blog might be one of the best ways to record my experiences and opinions as a reference tool. Quite often I cook in a semi-snapped stupor, so it’s tricky to remember what worked and what didn’t.
So, here’s the deal on Mexican chicken: definitely tasty, but definitely not worth the effort. So sayeth Dave.
