open house at bcit

I participated in an Open House exhibit at BCIT last month. The TEK Pavilion, as it was called, was a showcase of learning and teaching technologies in use or being piloted at BCIT. Some colleagues put together an amazing array of Apple technology for the purposes of recording and publishing visitor podcasts (well, they’re just videos really, but this isn’t about semantics) and we went to town.

Anyway, we burned the videos to discs for the visitors to take home and published about 150 – of the 300 recorded! – to the web. Occasionally it got slow at the exhibit and we amused ourselves. Here’s an example.
