So it’s the end of 2008. I’ve been updating the blog again. Not surprisingly, I haven’t actually been writing anything but, man, it sure looks a lot nicer (front and back) and does some cool things (front and back).
Seriously, I do want to start using it more to bring together that digital persona I talked about when I relaunched this blog back in 2007. To that end, I’ve been more active on Twitter and Flickr and I’ve managed to incorporate some feeds from those sites into this one.
The social networking and user-generated-content phenomenon is becoming crucial to my work. I’m amazed at what’s possible, and what people are doing, and I see some opportunities for myself and my employer. In the interest of exploring, and making sense of those opportunities, I’m going to make a genuine effort to post and manage stuff here (really, I promise this time). It will probably be a bit muddled at first, but I’ll give myself the year to sort it out.
We’ll see where I’m at this time in 2009.
